Northern Alternative Forum (NAF), a socio-political group, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the appointment of new Directors-General of
Department of State Services (DSS) and the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).

This is contained in a statement by the National Chairman of the group, Mallam Gidado Ibrahim on Monday.

Tinubu, had approved the appointment of Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi as the new Director-General of the DSS and Mohammed Mohammed as Director-General of the NIA.

Gidado commended the president for choosing the right persons for the two positions.

“These appointments are the best picks by the President.

“With these appointments coming simultaneously, a new life will be breathed into our nation’s intelligence community and the fight against insecurity, especially terrorism.

“The secret police has indeed entered a new era,”he said.

He expressed optimism that the duo, given their pedigree, would expose economic saboteurs “sponsoring terrorism, banditry and political violence.”
