Sen. Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua has announced that his mother Hajiya Binta Yar’Adua, who passed on Sept. 2, aged 102 will be buried on Sept.3(today) by 1:30 p.m.

This is contained in a statement by the lawmaker, who represents Katsina Central Senatorial District.

He said his late mother was a devout Muslim, who “lived a life of unwavering faith, always seeking the pleasure of Allah (SWT).

He further said that late Dada was a pillar of strength to the family and the entire community.

Yar’Adua said she was a shining example of kindness, compassion and piety.

He added that her life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and service to humanity.

“Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled but we take comfort in the knowledge that she lived a fulfilled life and a legacy of love, kindness and generosity.

“I want to express my gratitude to everyone at this moment for your prayers, support, and condolences, which mean a lot to us.

“May Allah (SWT) grant her Jannah Firdaus and forgive her shortcomings.

“May He also grant us the fortitude to bear this loss. Ameen,”he said.
