Pursuant to the administrative philosophy of the newly appointed Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed targeted at digitalizing all operational activities of the Corps, the Corps Marshal has appointed Deputy Corps Commander Wasiu Adenekan to double as his Technical Adviser and Head of the Corps Information Technology Office.

He also appointed Olusegun Ogungbemide as the new Spokesperson of the corps.

Olusegun before his appointment, was in charge of Command Administration and Strategy in the Operations Department at the National Headquarters, Abuja.

The Corps Marshal also directed the immediate redeployment of two other senior officers.

One of the officers is Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu, immediate past spokesperson of the corps, who is to now head, Administration and Human Resources Department at the National Headquarters.

Also, ACM Chidi Nkwonta, former Commandant, FRSC Command and Staff College Udi, Enugu State, has been redeployed as Principal Staff Officer (PSO) to the Corps Marshal.

Nkwonta is taking over from Hafeez Muhammed, an Assistant Corps Marshal who has now been redeployed as Zonal Commanding Officer, Zone 7.

The Corps Marshal charged the newly redeployed officers to be dedicated to duty and committed to promoting the corps’ vision of making Nigerian roads safer for all motorists.
